@LakeRabour@IWrestledAJedi@Vikings No that’s an excuse for being afraid to throw into tight coverage, because he’s more worried about his stats. Same with when he throws the ball out of bounds in Hail Mary situations.
@LakeRabour@IWrestledAJedi@Vikings Or how bout when he blamed the coaches for him having a timeout gaffe? And Zim had to go up to the podium and say - no our QB absolutely has the ability to call timeouts
@IWrestledAJedi@Vikings Enjoy em. Simply not worth our time and money anymore. This decision shouldn’t be applauded. Kirk won the negotiation, and got everything he wanted. And the franchise is going to pay the price at the expense of a fanbase that deserves a competent team.
@IWrestledAJedi@Vikings Here’s what’s about to happen. Vikes nation is going to figure out Kirk’s the issue the next 18 months, after he runs out of people to blame. In 2023 he’ll be out after another disappointing season, leaving 25M in deadcap and a franchise looking to FINALLY draft a QB
@VikingsTom81@Vikings I sincerely hope you’re right, I’ve loved this team my whole life. I think I’m just gonna go golfing on sundays now, and read how the Vikes do in the news. Life’s too short
@VikingsTom81@Vikings As long as KC8 is the QB I don’t see the purpose in following this team closely. 9-8, 8-9, fringe playoff team. It’s just pointless. It’s painful watching them squander All-Pro careers because ownership seemingly is afraid to move on from Kirk
@SKOLMidwestNFL @Vikings I’m a lifelong fan, as most Vikes fans are. The last 4 years, I’ve come to the conclusion Kirk is not a championship caliber QB. I’ll probably consider paying attention again when Kirk is off the team, so 2024. Until then, it’s not worth the time/energy/heartache. SKOL
@JBLADES13@AVSiOfficial@Vikings That’s what Kwesi/KOC were hired to figure out. Go out and draft one and develop them. Not double down, and keep the previous regimes guy who got everybody fired. This move, is denying them that opportunity. It’s poor decision making from the top-down, and that’s why we’re out
@JBLADES13@AVSiOfficial@Vikings The right thing to do, was move Kirk to the highest bidder, take one season to retool, get healthy with the cap and come back in 2023. This, is a desperate play to compete in 2022, which will further set them back for the long term, and I believe ownership influenced this
@Killebrew5731@Vikings Good luck next year!! They’re right on the cusp. Just need to find a guard, center, 2 linebackers, at least 2 pass rushers, and 3 starting corners, along with replacing anyone who they end up releasing to free up cap space. They got this!!
@JBLADES13@AVSiOfficial@Vikings Because keeping him on his current cap hit wasn’t a viable option, and if the trade market for Kirk wasn’t very strong, extending him became their only choice to field a competitive team this season.
@AVSiOfficial@JBLADES13@Vikings It’s going to be hard leaving behind such a great fanbase. You all are so dedicated in your rationalizing why this team doesn’t win. I truly hope to see them win a 🏆 someday. Unfortunately you’ll need a different QB.
@2ndfstestderby @Vikings@Commanders We think we’re just gonna be casual fans now, maybe watch the Sunday night game occasionally. Certainly not going to plan my sundays around watching this team anymore. It’s not worth the heartache
@AlexDosdos@Vikings Ill definitely miss the @vikings, I’ve been a fan my whole life. I’m realizing it’s the owners keeping Kirk here, not just the GM. At this point we’ve concluded there are more worthwhile things to spend time on, rather than watching this team go .500 again next year.
