It's Scholastic Book Fair Time again! Can you help my students buy books? I've set up an e-Wallet in my name. If you can, you can click the link to add money in my wallet. ALL of the money goes to my students.

Kicked off our Literati Book Fair with a pop-up tent at Field Day. The Book Fair runs April 1-5. Buy a Gift Card for your student instead of sending cash. https://t.co/SU6WG0MrX2.

Shout out to our Klein Forest ROTC (@KleinForestROTC) for bringing their Color Guard over to talk to our Safety Patrol students last week. Some great information was shared.
Our @KlenkKISD Cougars are THRILLED to receive a $4,300 grant for student Pickleball Teams. This will help our students work as a team, while building development and problem-solving skills. 🥳
Shout out to my new friend Vuthy Kuon who came to school to read his books and show our students how to draw. Such a fun day! I totally recommend him for an author visit. 😀
Another must session for librarian and teacher duos to attend! Google Hacks for the School Librarian where you will learn all types of @GoogleForEdu shortcuts to make your teaching life easier! @TxASL@TXLA#txaslchat#TDTLA23#TxLA23
I had to give a shout out to my teachers who helped students celebrate Read Across America! From dressing up as a cow to read "Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You?" to finding "There's a Wocket in My Pocket" (both by Dr. Seuss) to read in Vietnamese to our Dual Language classes. So fun!
Klenk Elementary is participating in the Houston Rocket's Read Nation contest presented by Whataburger! The contest runs Jan. 17 - Feb. 14th. All students have to do is keep track of the minutes they read each day. Students have a calendar for them to help track their minutes.
Today we are celebrating National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day! Big thank you to Officer Willis who helps out at our campus! Thank you for everything you do!
