I love the Russo's but if I had to point at their weaknesses with these two films in particular it would be that. Everything else though they did and have done have been great for the most part. I just hope in Doomsday we don't retread any of this and just have both be badass.
Still a generational fumble here with them not letting Hulk shine whatsoever and not even being in this sequence. Love how they handled Thor in Infinity War but Hulk hell no. Endgame they fumbled on both of them really reducing them to comedic relief. It's unfortunate but true.
We shouldn’t normalize leaks and know everything about a movie before it comes out. Also, I feel like Marvel might be making fake trailers to throw us off, I hope that’s the case
I guarantee Avengers: Infinity War isn’t the last time they are faking us out 👀
#AvengersDoomsday
Easily the best series of 2025. If this is truly IT than I would be more than happy here but if there's more with everyone still involved making it I wouldn't be opposed to more seasons. This is how you do a prequel series right here. All original and seamless into to the films.
Episode 8
IT’S THE BEST SERIES OF 2025! It: Welcome to Derry ends on an exciting note that recontextualizes & expands the lore of this universe in jaw dropping ways. Loved the connection to The Shining & IT movies. One cameo truly shocked me to my core. IT WILL RETURN 👀
@iammorniingstar @JEST0Z Ok see I had forgotten about that. Which is the turtle 🐢 spirit correct. Thanks for the info. That makes sense. It's been awhile since I have revisited the films. I figured there was a reason but again I wasn't wrong in it being a writing choice but I don't mean that negatively.
Yeah it definitely makes you wonder how TF they even survived at all but that's writing for you. It we know has a long history of killing but this show really gets to do it's own in that context and be creative and take risks. It stays faithful but takes liberties with taste.
I always kinda wondered about this but wasn't ever certain but again I kinda didn't remember or notice this outright. Crazy. Devil is in the details. Andy is a GOAT give me more. Welcome to Derry is insanely good but want more horror stories from him. His imagination is nuts.
Me and my Dad had the exact same thoughts on that. Seeing it in the show and Monster House being one of my favorite Halloween movies to revisit and in general to it definitely makes me wonder if Andy took inspiration from that in the design of this creepy house.
Went by myself and hadn't seen a horror film in years let alone in theaters. Won't ever forget this one. Especially the beginning with Georgie compared to the old series its not even close. It pales in comparison and my jaw was on the floor. 🎈
This and Mama is what really sparked my love for horror again. Mama most definitely prior to this. In the same year where Conjuring came out I always have preferred Mama over it but Conjuring was good as well. Mama just left more of an impression on me and I always go back to it.
Well deserved. Everyone and anyone go see this ASAP. If you're a fan and you are open to something different then you will walk out happy. A must watch and a fun time at the movies. Thank @DannyTRS for reviving and saving the franchise. His importance can't be stressed enough.
#PredatorBadlands first impressions. I had an absolute blast and can't wait to see it again. This film is a brain child of mine and even a short story I wrote brought to life and done better than I could've imagined. A absolute must watch and a unique entry. @DannyTRS Thank you.
