After my disastrous customer service with @Tripadvisor and @flipkey, I’d like to report the out-of-this-world experience I received with @Orbitz yesterday. The agent was able to rebook my trip and even saved me a bit of money over the cost I found online. Thanks Orbitz!
@flipkey So you can tell me that someone will research it and get back to me and then send me the same form email letter I’ve been getting and still no conversation? I’ve been through the hoops, this generic number gets me no where.
Please safe yourself the hassle. Don’t use @flipkey through @Tripadvisor Very unprofessional company, who does not look out for its customers. Took $1200 of my money and won’t even have a phone conversation with me about it.
@Tripadvisor I will when I have a moment but I’m sure you’ll just send me the same exact form letter you’ve been sending me for a couple weeks now instead of actually having an adult conversation on a telephone.
Booked a flat through @Tripadvisor in April 2020. Was unable to take the trip due to COVID. The woman said she’d work with me to rebook, but now nothing is available and refuses to talk with me. This woman was paid my money; @TripAdvisor let this woman steal about $1200 from me!
Do yourself a favor and never book with @Tripadvisor Worst company I have ever dealt with. They allowed a flat owner to keep $1200 for a trip I could take because of COVID. But I’m out the cash…seems legit.
