Of the new cases, 1 is in north zone, 4 are in central zone, 2 are in Calgary zone and 13 are in the south zone.

Majority of the cases have been in the south zone so far with 106, followed by the central zone with 72.

Based on those 155 cases, 138 people did not have the measles vaccine, 10 people had one dose of the vaccine, 5 people had 2 or more doses of the vaccine, and 2 are unknown.

The vaccination status of cases, and hospitalizations are not reflective of the total number of cases, and the numbers released today (May 1) reflect the data regarding 155 cases, as of April 26.

Based on those 155 cases, 11 people required hospitalization (+2), and 144 did not.

Both of the new cases are in the south zone.
One of the cases is under 5, the other is in the 5 to 17 years old age range.
