@DCWard7teacher Meanwhile, there is still no heat or working toilet in my kindergarten class, but perhaps it's bc we are in Ward 8. The bonus wasn't enough hush money, and no amount is!!!

Update: got sanitizer Lysol with bleach spray and a plug-in heater. The logistics person gave me a Medify small air filter much better than the previous for sure. Maybe the bathroom will get fixed in our room next.

So 1st day to school back from FMLA bc COVID almost killed my mother...custodians had no filters for air purifiers (the green lights let you know it's working), no bleach wipes, soap barely working in our bathroom or sanitizer, no heat, no isolation room, and we share a nurse.

Then they had a designated area to eat outside off by the construction area with the stinking birds. They are 5 and 6.

Just had the worse experience at the Air and Space Museum with my kindergarten class!! We were not allowed to eat in the museum unless they were buying lunch and even if they did it was not enough space!!! The website had the best activities only available at the Chantilly, VA.

@maustermuhle @ChmnMendelson tell my 77 year old mother it's just the flu on her 3rd hospitalization since July 26th!!!! 39 days in rehab and brain fog out of this world!!!!! Do better for your residents! It's affecting African-Americans differently!!! #Reinstatemasks

I no longer have the words to describe my sadness as to where we are as a society. The most heartbreaking part is that we all knew this (and unfortunately more to come) were inevitable. Imagine being so indoctrinated that you attack an 82 year old defenseless man in his home.
