KNAD hosted a German delegation led by Evangelist Maasai, focusing on Deaf community challenges.
This visit opened avenues for future partnerships to promote inclusivity and diversity.
Her background, being a Lebanese American Muslim woman who became legally blind at a young age, adds a personal dimension to her advocacy, making her a powerful voice in discussions on Disability Rights.
@sarasminkara's role as Special Advisor on International Disability Rights at the U.S. Department of State is to promote and protect the rights of persons with disabilities globally, which aligns with her participation in this event.
