@BTCoptioneer Or just issue more at market price so they don’t have to pay the higher dividend to all STRC holders, just the newly issued shares. Why does the $100 price point matter?
@dotkrueger Why not just sell STRC at current market price at all times? Then you only pay the higher dividend to new holders rather than raising the dividend for existing holders.
@DerrickClarkCPA@pepemoonboy Pretty sure that is regulatory. Opening a position requires more margin than maintaining a position. Regulation T I think.
@ibuyrvparks As a top national RV park broker myself we are seeing better sales than last year and lots of capital still wanting to enter the market.
Occupancy is up in some markets and down in others.
Debt rates stabilizing has opened the market. Some groups exiting and others entering.
@RationalTrades Interesting. Thinking that one could theoretically hedge out the Bitcoin price volatility by selling put on bito and buy put on ibit. Was burned on the last “mispricing” so trying to decide how to play this one.
@darkminer How are you thinking about next year? Continue to target 1% a month by using volatile crypto companies or dial back some with a focus on the rest of the market?
@RationalTrades@WhiteRocksBros What if you took into account interest earned on the future dividends they are holding to improve the fit? $0.25 dividend projections in Feb implies $3 of profits to be distributed throughout the year so the fund would be earning an extra $0.01 per month in interest at 4.5%.
@RationalTrades It must be that that the estimate part means they maintain discretion. Seems 12/2 is going to be similar to 11/1 based on how I read it and 12/23 will be as well. So should be getting about $1.00 each of the next two months.
@RationalTrades@maliciim So are you selling on margin? Or just selling with your cash balance? I don’t have enough buying power for a meaningful payoff. Also, I see it as specifically limiting the trade to the arbitrage by selling the strike that is “ATM” in the market’s view and buying the OTM strike.
