June 19 2019 I turned in my two week's notice. A week later, I was too distracted to really be fully "there" so they agreed it would be good if I left that very Wednesday.

Then I went full grind mode, got my small business rolling, and never looked back.

@Robert67476888 @Thefrugalgay11 No. We use the existing pipe as it comes up through the floor behind the kitchen sink for example. Only need one point of entry. Or sometimes we go through the toilet drain pipe for example. Only in the worse case do we need to dig.

Instead of having a downtrodden “I will never be able to afford”, “I can’t”, “I don’t deserve” mindset,

Switch to a “How can I afford”, “Why shouldn’t I enjoy X”, “Just because it’s a luxury, doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy it” mindset.

It is a small change with drastic results.

@Thefrugalgay11 Study your market until you're an expert on prices, ARV, expenses, rent prices. Then have your father in law loan you enough to purchase a duplex plus a little for rehab. Refinance to pay him back and you got yourself a property. At least that's what I did!
