Fans discover the Miami Heat posted a scheduled live stream titled “LeBron James Introductory Press Conference” slated for July 27th on YouTube.
It was quickly deleted…
Miami has since responded saying it was a mistake from their social media team — in preparation for a potential LeBron signing, per @Anthony_Chiang.
Absolute madness.
The Cisse decision for the Mavs is interesting. Yes, they can easily afford to match. But this isn’t just a cap decision as much as it’s a roster construction decision. Lively. Gafford. Morez Johnson. How many developmental bigs do you really keep? Feels like a coin flip for us.
One of the recurring issues with the Knicks over the years has been looking for the quick fix and the savior. Sure, Zion could be that, but a competent front office should be able to take the cap space and even the fifth pick and turn a corner this summer.
Nothing wrong with wanting the Knicks to win the lottery, but there is something wrong with acting like the world ends if they don't. Whether they get the first pick or fifth, there's a light at the end of the tunnel.
This may be hard for some Knicks fans to accept, but the team is not going to win many games over the next 2 seasons. Biggest issues going forward: Porzingis' rehab, drafts in '18 & '19, decision on Hornacek, Porzingis extension, finding/developing young players, Noah situation.
