@girlymillennial@WallStreetApes AI inflitraring the HR process has also broken the job screening snd hiring process. Worse comes to worse, can I go back into the Service Industry. Idk if I will get a job there either given my background now.
@girlymillennial@WallStreetApes I just got laid off a little over 2 weeks ago. Same company, 12 yrs. I have put it 100 apps during that time. I have and AS. IT field. No call backs. The Indians have infiltrated the market. Every job I have applied to has 100+ applicants applied.
@WallStreetMav Hell I didn't get paid for chores. If I didn't do my chores I got grounded. I got a job at 13 worked summers and every other weekend during school. Paid for my school clothes and whatever else. Once I got my license my Dad did give me his old truck and did pay for ins and gas π€·ββοΈ
@VincentSco72192 While I know others are worse off than I am. I just got laid off from my job this past Friday. Been there over a decade. "Involuntary reduction in force." Stress level just went to 1000. It's not like it's easy to get through the ATS these days when applying to jobs.
@RightGoDeacs I am born and raised Carolina and they most definitely are pulling up on the all southern states. Nothing we can do bc they keep building houses!
@mattvanswol Left or Right. I quit going to church a long time ago, I have my reasons, and many. I don't need a building or a pastor to have a relationship with God. I actually got closer spiritually once I stopped going. Not that I am against anyone going. It's just not for me.
@mattvanswol@PlanetOfMemes Same thing is happening in SC sir. But we can't stop it. Our peace and beauty disappears more each day. It's really sad. Signed - born and bred southrener.
@NancyMace@katmancon Don't let me forget that taxes keep going up us bc of all the people moving here. I understand it's a free country, but it's happening too fast. Also, the next hurricane we have is gonna blow all these stick homes away or flood bc it's being allowed to build on wet land!
@NancyMace@katmancon The influx of people moving here are driving up prices, especially for rent, homes, insurance! Wages aren't rising to compensate for that. Lack of infrastructure to support the influx. Stop building! and let the infrastructure catch up!
