It's a variety of stuff. But I try to offer products that not many others do, which helps me stand out. I price high and allow price negotiation, which lets me sell it, on average, for more than I expected.

When I do in-person sales as a vendor, I ensure the customer feels heard and appreciated. Any topic they bring up can be a big factor in whether they complete a sale, depending on how much interest and relatability you show.

This empathetic model lets you, as a seller, know what fits their needs most rather than selling your highest-priced/most popular item. Each sales experience is tailored to each customer. When you do this, it leads to high customer retention, which helps maintain your sales rate.

This is deadass Micro Center's business model 😭. They teach empathy and how to respond and react, no matter who it is, so that you close the sale with a guarantee they come back.
