@amorastea@EwitzJ@itshelenwhat Truth be told the Velaryon boys are dealing with the Reverse Jon Snow situation, they have the name but they know they don't have the blood, Jon has the blood but he doesn't have the name (before the reveal that he's actually a Targ not a Stark)
@amorastea@EwitzJ@itshelenwhat Which is true, Tommen and his siblings might have the Baratheon last name, but they aren't "real" Baratheons because their true parentage is known.
@EwitzJ@amorastea@itshelenwhat Dude I get that but like I said there's big reasons why they wouldn't be recognized cause of the massive political fallout that would ensue. The 2nd in line to the Throne isn't even a Velaryon but born out of wedlock as a son of House Strong?
It would kill Rhaenrya's claim
@eldpblack@itshelenwhat Yeah I made an oppsie, I'll own up to it, it's actually really dumb they have them arguing since it's the least that those two are owed
@EwitzJ@amorastea@itshelenwhat Being recognized is one thing but like Aegon told Viserys years ago after the Aemond incident, everyone and their mother knows that her children are bastards.
They simply state the obvious opposite because its a huge scandal that will kill Rhaenrya's claim even more.
@amorastea@itshelenwhat My guy, I hate to say it, but yes, Jace, Luce, and Joffrey are all bastards. Laenor covered for Rhaenrya by saying they are his but he knew they were Harwin's hell everyone did. And since they were born out of wedlock, by definition they were bastards.
@RevakGoneRogue@DiscussingFilm I can respect that but it's funny you mentioned true nerds, when the man behind Rogue One and Andor is not at all into the franchise and only wanted to deliver a good story. Not trying to start an argument I just think it's funny since quite the opposite happened.
@FreeRubyJames@JaCrissppy@KnightWing19@starwars@DisneyPlus@hulu Spitting facts my dude episode 1 gave us a very likable character in Kara and actually gave a logical reason for why she's good as she is. She was raised by 2 Jedi Masters with one being her father a talented Lightsaber Smith and the other a grandfather like figure.
@BailenJack@ToonHive I mean, all of the past Star Wars since 2012 has been Disney Star Wars. If you liked some of the projects that came out during that time, then you liked something from Disney Star Wars.
@KingKaneki001@DiscussingFilm Cal Kestis, Margrave Juro, Ethan, that one Padawan paired with Ventress, Master Daki, Sol, Yord etc. There's been plenty of male jedi my dude.
In terms of protagonists the only female Jedi we've been following have been Ahsoka and Rey.
@Carnage2469@DiscussingFilm So what happens if your kids gets older and decides to watch the Disney era shows like: Mando, Ahsoka, Shadow Lord, Andor, Bad Batch, Rebels etc. And you know enjoys them?
@criticalhitsTV@starwars@DisneyPlus@hulu I mean Rey 2.0 here at least had actual training since she was a small child from 2 Jedi Masters one of them being her father, so she has that at least.
And the other is well yeah he is most definitely the modern male protagonist there to crush on the main female protagonist.
@Justanavrage@NicholasLight@DiscussingFilm To my understanding this is supposed to be set way in the future, like hundreds to maybe a thousand or more years in the future. That way it can stand as it's own story without having to make a callback to anything from the Skywalker Saga.
@RevakGoneRogue@DiscussingFilm Wouldn't Rogue One be Kathleen's garbage since it was made during her tenure as Head of Lucasfilm? Same as Andor, Bad Batch, Mando, the rest of Visions etc.
@Sangeli7@dauntlesseskimo Exactly why I can't blame Tywin for staying out of the whole Rebellion until he was certain of who would win. Or any house for that matter.
@Sangeli7@dauntlesseskimo Around the time of the Dance the Lord of House Tyrell was an infant and his mother decided to stay neutral, it's only after the Dance did the Tyrells basically give a threat to the Hightowers to never rebel like they did again.
@juaunbarboza@Jadeeslike Strongest, I think, goes to Vermithor, got into a 2 v 1 and actually came out on top he just died because his wings ripped apart when he took flight again, and gravity did him in.
@RisemovieDaily@joshcoles78 The novel also mentions that had it been a proper 1 v 1, then Meleys likely would've come out on top between the two. But I will say that it really depends on the situation, but in a head to head Vermithor stomps he's not that far off from Vhagar's size were it wouldn't matter.
@RisemovieDaily@joshcoles78 I'm gonna have to disagree. Arrax was roughly 1/5th her size when she killed him, and in the Battle of Rooks Rest the show downplayed Sunfyre a lot both he and Meleys were fucking each other up pretty badly before Vhagar joined and more or less just crashed on them both.
