what an insane movie lol
Inde Navarrette, take a bow. any time she was on screen i was on edge or just plain scared and any time she wasn’t on screen i was wondering where she was and anticipating her to pop up. 10/10 acting performance.
2 FAST 2 FURIOUS was released 23 years ago today.
It remains the only film in the main FAST & FURIOUS saga without Vin Diesel, putting Paul Walker’s Brian O’Conner at the center of the franchise on his own.
Batman taking Ra's al Ghul out with a Reverse Batarang in Arkham City is epic 🦇
The man is so obsessed with Bruce becoming his successor that he's willing to sacrifice his own daughter. Crazy.
Definitely a top moment for me.
Focus' Obsession grossed an estimated $7.47M domestically on Friday (from 2,900 locations), which was a 9% decrease from the previous Friday. Estimated total domestic gross stands at $134.00M.
#Obsession#ObsessionMovie#BoxOffice
SATURDAY EARLY WEEKEND ESTIMATES:
1. Scary Movie | $56M
2. Masters of the Universe | $30.1M
3. Backrooms | $25.4M
4. Obsession | $24.8M
5. The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act | $14.1M
The fact that Netflix is still trying to play the "we don't believe in theatrical" card when films like Obsession and Backrooms are killing at the box office is so pathetic and lame that it's not even funny. They know they have to evolve cause movies in theaters ain't going.
Audiences just can’t get enough of #Focus’ R-rated original horror #Obsession, which will cross the 150M mark at US #BoxOffice by SUN!
YouTuber #CurryBarker grossed OBSESSED 7.5M on BIGGEST 4th nationwide FRI of ALL TIME for horror, just a -8.5% drop from last FRI (vs
#SINNERS 6.6M, -31.5%, #TheSixthSense’s 5.8M, -18.9%), despite adding just +120 theatres yesterday, now playing in 2.900, and despite facing fellow #Backrooms & #ScaryMovie6
It hits a 134M cume in the US, and it’ll cross the 150 mark this SUN.
200M+ absolutely locked 🔒
The film itself had a ridiculously low under 1M production price tag, and #Focus paid only 15M to acquire the global distribution rights from producers (sans France, Russia, Australia & NZ).
Both sides seeing their investment paying off greatly.
Eyeing a 23M-27M 4th 3-day weekend in the US.
Inde Navarrette learned last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live that OBSESSION is the first non-holiday wide release to grow on its 2nd and 3rd weekends since E.T. (1982).
- “Hey, Spielberg!”
In its fourth weekend, Obsession will finally fall -- but just 9 percent, with a projected $24.8M weekend. That's still a bigger gross than weekends 1 and 2. Backrooms expected to drop 69 percent, but that's after doing strong business during the week
