This is not new information. CSIS told the federal government NOT to invoke the Emergencies Act (EA) because the protest was about government overreach. They told the feds not to push citizens further by invoking the EA. Instead, the Liberal Party with the support of the NDP went against the advice of CSIS and invoked the EA.

It is time for honest, open and mature dialogue, not gaslighting, censorship, and suppression.
