It's all about whether or not I can afford the recovery, and if it's worth it.

@spine_cone Ask to get screened in a private room or have your cat leashed. They made me carry my cat through the metal detector not in her crate and she escaped and had a good runabout in the airport. Did catch her but boy it was a stressful start
@VeroniqueThebe1 And for specialists, I worked with a counselor who specialized in patients with brain injury, having had a TBI herself. And my speech therapist who was truly lifesaving helping me and my partner get through that first year.
@VeroniqueThebe1 My partner, who's been with me every step of the way. I used to go to a monthly brain injury survivors group that was also very helpful.
@the_mckern Yeah when I last got stuff from them I had to make sure to get the โroomyโ fit or whatever they called it and for active wear those pants do not have a lot of space for thighsโฆ
