African women have survived history, and beyond that, they preserved it.
Today is Pan-African Women’s Day. We honor the women leading the Return. Beyond even getting stolen artifacts back from Western museums; it’s about reclaiming our narrative, our power, and our future.
Her courage is our legacy.

The gathering was inspiring and strengthened our bond with parents, reminding us of the power of working together to build a brighter future for every child
As part of community engagement, Knowledge in Books held a meaningful meeting with parents where we introduced our organization, shared the progress of our programs, and presented the parental consent forms to support children’s full participation in library activities.
Education in the digital world isn't just about devices — it's about possibilities. With this tablet in hand, our library becomes more than a space for books; it becomes a gateway to global knowledge, creativity, and connection.
We are actively seeking partnerships and support from individuals and organizations who believe in the power of equitable education and digital inclusion.
Together, we can transform lives through access to knowledge.
Today, the Knowledge in Books team had the opportunity to speak live on Radio Sengerema 98.9 FM, where we shared our journey and the impact of our work in the community.
We highlighted our flagship initiative — the Digital Learning Hub in Sengerema —
which is equipping children and youth with access to technology, educational resources, and a safe learning environment.
Our goal is to bridge the digital and educational divide in underserved areas, and to inspire a culture of reading and digital literacy among young learners.
Today, we celebrate the resilience, potential, and brilliance of African children—especially those in underserved communities. Together, let’s continue to break barriers and open doors to opportunity.
Happy International Day of the African Child!
