@terryoinfluence In one of my many boxes of memories, I have one of those disks from Stan Lee, welcoming me to the MMMS-the Merry Marvel Marching Society. Grade school me was thrilled to get that in the mail. Old me surprised I still have it.
@terryoinfluence Listening to today's show...you mentioned the Peugeot pepper grinder. We bought ours years ago, in Reykjavik (we couldn't find a grinder in Canada). Who knew its history? (well, you...). It's still working great.
https://t.co/BGTUxC69wj Trump said he would wait two weeks to act and then sucker-punches Iran. So, he's a liar? Here goes another US interventionary war where they will screw everything up and lose again. Their track record since WWII has been nothing but failures. MAGA indeed
@CBCOntarioToday I reported those false Carney posts (and similar others) to @Facebook and was told by them that these ads do not violate their policy.
@MichaelChongMP You should have been leader of the party. I still wouldn't vote for you, but at least you have a level of class that used to be common in politicians. Never liked your stance on the CBC, but you always came across as honest. Not so your smug, jingoistic boss.

@NoLore Their mother had died; your great grandfather was unable to look after his sons. He sent his daughter to another family. The sons ran away from school twice to get back to Timmins. My grandmother came to Canada to marry my grandfather & reunite the family, which she did.
@CBCOntarioToday our mother, a nurse for most of her life, was named Irene Jean Giallonardo. Her mother spoke little to no English. We asked why she had such non-Italian names. She said the attending nurses at her birth thought those were good names. Their names, it turned out.
