Are we going to pretend that Alicent wasn’t present at the council meeting back in S1 when Tyland announced the treasury's gold would be divided & hidden? Fine, let's say she never asked where it was being taken, but she's acting like she had absolutely no idea this was happening
this will be portrayed as based but ultimately the emerging pattern of players having to choose between the money they’re worth and the ability to build a team sucks when every owner is a quadrillionaire
Everyone in the media who tried to address “player empowerment” with negativity should be ashamed as well. The fact that players taking some agency back from owners was ever viewed in a negative light is ridiculous but we do live in a society that loves to coddle billionaires 🤷🏿♂️
Growing up hearing “Wikipedia isn't a valid source” and then entering a workplace where people say “just ask ChatGPT” is a surprisingly strange timeline
Like bro not even Tywin tried sending Tyrion to the Wall until he had actual grounds to do so 😭 Randyll Tarly sent his child up there for no other reason than being fat and gentle 💀
I think it’s pretty obvious the show was indeed leaning onto book alicent at first after time skip but they entirely changed it by S2. her reaction/words might make sense to some people but we cannot ignore the drastic change that was most likely not planned from the beginning.
