Book #17
The Gunslinger by Stephen King
4.5/5 βοΈ
Honestly, this one started slow for me. The story was short, so I read it twice in quick succession. It really clicked for me the second time.
Well-written characters in a unique world make for a compelling story.
@Gravantus Wait... aren't there lego adults today who buy this stuff solely because it was inaccessible to them as children? Artificial attachment to legos created through envy?
@NickOnRipple Lego knows that the money lies in these $500+ sets. They don't care that a lot of these sets will be bought and held by scalpers, unopened, for 5-10+ years in hopes that they can make a small fortune in that time.

Book #0 (because I started it in December)
All the Skills (Book 3) by Honour Rae
4.5/5 βοΈ
Probably me favorite book so far in this series. The story really starts to take off in this one. The characters are progressing, and so is the author's writing ability.
Book #16
A Flicker in the Dark by Stacy Willingham
4/5 βοΈ
A pretty solid story that I felt was pretty straightforward with its intentions. It was a quick-read for me with well-developed characters and good pacing.
