Targeting Women and the Junta’s Shift Toward a "Total War" Strategy
The terrorist military junta has been compiling lists of men and women for military conscription starting from January 2025 up to the present.
The primary targets among women include non-CDM civil servants, distance education students, factory workers, and rural women.
Rather than sending female recruits to the frontline upon completing basic military training, the junta is assembling them as rear-guard support—replacing personnel in administrative, desk, logistics, and drone units.
This strategy of substituting female labor into auxiliary rear-guard and logistical roles mirrors the "Total War" concept observed throughout military history, where every available resource and societal capacity is fully mobilized for warfare.
During World War II, the Allied forces—namely the United States, Great Britain, and the Soviet Union—fully mobilized female labor in arms manufacturing and rear-guard supply networks to counter the Axis fascist powers (Japan, Germany, and Italy).
In the United States, as men departed for the battlefields, over 6 million women entered defense production factories. Symbolized by "Rosie the Riveter," they took over riveting, machine assembly, and manufacturing tasks for warships, B-29 bombers, tanks, and ammunition.
In Great Britain, the 1941 National Service Act made conscription into munitions factories mandatory for women aged 19 to 30. Working in Royal Ordnance Factories under hazardous conditions, women produced millions of explosive shells—often suffering chemical exposure from TNT that turned their skin and hair yellow.
The Soviet Union utilized women for over 50 percent of its industrial defense workforce, keeping production lines running around the clock to build T-34 tanks and rockets. Furthermore, female personnel were fully deployed across rear-guard administrative offices, reconnaissance and bomber aviation units, and combat sniper roles.
The junta’s current targeting and recruitment of women directly follows this "Total War" rationale: replacing rear-guard support with female personnel to maximize male combat manpower for the frontlines.
These conscription drives have also turned into a lucrative revenue stream for the regime’s local Ward Administrators. To generate income, administrators are extensively conducting ground-level registration, extortion, and individual forced abductions. Regardless of the junta's motives, forced recruitment constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and standard human rights violations.

Structural Breakdown of the Terrorist Military
Leaked frontline strength rolls of a column from Light Infantry Battalion 83 (LIB 83), under the 88th Light Infantry Division (LID 88) operating in Sagaing, were recently reported by @Khithitofficia Media. The leaked data reveals the composition of a ground assault column:
Officers: 3
Permanent Active Personnel: 17
Conscripted Recruits: ~80
Roughly 80% of the column consists of undertrained conscripts.
Under standard military structure, a squad consists of 9 to 11 soldiers, and a platoon comprises nearly 30. However, the leaked data shows squads reduced to just 3 to 7 soldiers, signaling a severe collapse in frontline strength.
Furthermore, the column lacks combat medics, leaving wounded personnel at risk of being abandoned on the battlefield. Command structure shows similar decay: while a deputy battalion commander and a major lead the column, company commanders consist of newly commissioned second lieutenants—positions normally held by captains or senior captains awaiting promotion to major. This shortage of captain-level officers indicates a severed chain of command, forcing lance corporals and corporals to fill company and platoon leadership roles.
Regarding weaponry, soldiers are equipped primarily with light arms (MA-1, MA-2, MA-3, and MA-4). Close-range fire support weapons—such as light machine guns, 40mm grenade launchers (MA-PLUS), and BA-100 commando mortars—are noticeably scarce. While this setup might suggest a lightweight, mobile unit, in practice it reflects a reliance on outdated "human wave" tactics: pushing forward with small-arms fire and sacrificing undertrained recruits to seize territory with little regard for human life.
The exposure of top-secret data—including service numbers, names, ranks, duties, and weapon serial numbers—highlights a critical failure in Operational Security (OPSEC). Such leaks will inevitably heighten suspicion, internal audits, and distrust within the military ranks.
In summary, the military relies heavily on conscripts as shields in operations amid a severe shortage of core regulars and officers. Combined with a dependence on light weaponry, this reveals a strategy that disregards human life, while the operational leak is bound to exacerbate internal paranoia and scrutiny in the days ahead.

To ensure that many youths do not continue to be forcibly recruited and separated from their families, suffering unknown casualties daily merely to sustain the family business empires of Min Aung Hlaing and military generals, some statements from Pa Ko Nay Myo Tun—who defected to the People's Defence Force—are excerpted from his interview as follows:
PDF & ethnic allies unify command under SCEF to expand offensives nationwide.53 junta troops killed & 27 captured/defected in 1 week.Strategic outposts captured in Indaw-Katha(Sagaing) & Shwegu (Kachin). Forced conscription fuels growing surrenders & urban retaliation.#SpringRevo
