@sophyien Looking how probably 90% of avid yume shippers are rabidly homophobic and hostile to gay men (just take a look at otome community) it’s kinda normal to dislike them.
@PlasmaAries@AvoidantMachine I mean
We got straight hero x hero last week. Then one queer Hero x nobody npc. And now another straight Hero X Hero. It seems like ratio is quite heavily skewed.
@iiwuvu @Etinatem So far I see mostly gay people annoyed about another straight hero x hero relationship on the horizon after one was introduced last week, meanwhile queer relationship was yet another Hero x npc who won’t have any importance.
@imissinsidejob@DogboyCassidy I don’t think there ever was possibility of Wuyang not being straight. I’m saying this from irl perspective, Bliz wants OW to be popular in China and both Chinese players and government tend to be homophobic, so I don’t see them trying to make a non-straight Chinese hero.
@Opex_Draws@indycudy Ehh I don’t see them making a Chinese character non straight, just due to simple reason how it could negatively affect their business in China (both playerbase and government tend to be homophobic)
@Natsu_Elfgirl@marionumber4 The funniest thing to me is that I see Americans going about “why didn’t you celebrate X American military holiday!” Under pride posts from outside of US.
Why would someone celebrate foreign military holidays? lol
@AdamG18842910@BellegardeSZN Then you aren’t real Catholic because weekly mass is a basic fundamental requirement and not fulfilling it counts unambiguously as sin lol.
@AdamG18842910@BellegardeSZN Where did you get those stats lol
Spis powszechny from 2021 showed that 71% are members of Catholic Church and that by itself doesn’t mean much seeing how I’m still a member of Catholic Church while I’ve been an atheist for almost a decade.
29% attendance is from church itself
@AdamG18842910@BellegardeSZN Colours are in regards to legality of homosexuality and protection from discrimination (employment for example) rights like marriage are depicted in green circles.
As to 85% it’s number of church members, many atheists never unregister. Only around 29% of it regularly practices
@bloupriiint I’m reaching the point when I’m just starting to ignore anything posted than US based accounts.
Visit countries like Russia or Georgia or other Eastern European countries and then you can try talking shit about experiences of white queers.
@s1llyramen Never picked up persona beyond 2, because I’m not going to give money to devs who have time to make a ton of straight romance options but won’t add even 1 gay option.
@comficreami@tryin2bgreenman@PunishedAG I’m sure you have research and data to confirm your claim?
You wouldn’t be pulling complete bullshit out of your ass after all?
@LolLol4240734@SeatbeltQ@niggaayaoi@dannybighorns Both anti-lgbt views and xenophobia (unlike US it goes beyond just skin colour based racism - like now the main target of xenophobes here are Ukrainians despite being white) tend to go hand in hand all through the world.
@jamillacore @bowsnbubbles You throw shit at white queer people and then act surprised when they throw shit back at you.
It’s you who started being racist here lol.
@SeatbeltQ@LolLol4240734@niggaayaoi@dannybighorns Poland, there’s quite a few racists here too, but it’s hard to find a person who is racist and isn’t anti-lgbt at the same time, so lgbt people get shit on twice by random bigots on the streets and also by government and law actively discriminating against us.
@LolLol4240734@niggaayaoi@dannybighorns Yup but that comes from random bigots, when it comes to lgbt people it’s both this kind of bigotry and also oppression by law. You will get put in prison for anything openly queer (just recently woman was sentenced to forced labour just for writing gay fanfic).
