Good morning...
Saturdays are such a blessing.
When I was younger, I loathed them, simply because the markets were closed. I wake early, shuffle through the house to my usual place and enjoy the quiet stillness.
It gives me opportunity to hear from the Lord, where I can hear the constant tone in my ears, which after a short while begins to roar over the silence.
I often think of the path my life has traveled. The many people that I have had the privilege to touch and inspire. It is truly amazing, when I think about it.
My mind drifts to the markets and how I did this past week... recounting the steps each day and its engagement. I no longer punish myself, as I did in my younger years.
I know there were opportunities I didn't engage with, but I am thankful I know them and knew the setups I did take.
I wish you knew me when I was 20 years old... and could compare me with that version of me, back then. Not for reasons of emulating or copying that version of me... no.
For no other reason than to feel encouraged by the fact that a lost young man found his way.
Thank you Jesus.
