This morning at State house Nairobi, I took my oath of office for the position of Cabinet Secretary in charge of Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs.

I wish to extend my sincere gratitude to the Almighty Allah (SWT) for bestowing such great favors upon me and also express my profound appreciation to H.E Dr. @WilliamsRuto for his confidence and trust in my abilities to lead a ministry that is crucial in national development.

Furthermore, I wish to thank my fellow Kenyans for all the heartfelt messages of goodwill that I have and continue to receive from them, locally and across the globe.

I look forward to serving our great nation and government diligently and with great conviction, while ensuring my ministry leads the socio-economic transformation of our country.
