@akhbarbladie I wonder about all the images I see which includes the Western Sahara as part of Morocco. Didn't the TAS already rule Moroccan teams can't use those borders for example on their jerseys? Unless things get settled in the next 4 years, those borders will officially not be allowed.

@medkupru @AdamSmitzz In 1975, the ICJ ruled that while historical legal ties of allegiance existed between certain Moroccan sultans and some tribes in the territory, they did not establish territorial sovereignty or ownership over Western Sahara before the Spanish arrived.

@medkupru @AdamSmitzz It's hard to reclaim something that never was yours. Before Spanish colonization in 1884, the Western Sahara was not part of a centralized Moroccan state. The region was inhabited and governed independently by various indigenous nomadic Berber and Sahrawi tribal confederations.

@Chelseafc224 @hodannat55 And let's not forget about the fact Morocco doesn't control the full Western Sahara, they annexed a part of the south of the territory after Mauritania left, the ongoing conflict between Morocco and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and the Berm that crosses the territory.

@Sahrawardi6 It's the smallest landborder worldwide if I'm not mistaken. Morocco doesn't need to take this land from Spain, they need to find a way to turn this into a tourist attraction to get some income for the citizens. (1/2)

@baqoushi @InfinitoMain @agarciasanjuan By that logic, Alaska should be Canadian. The Northern Mariana Islands and Guam should be Micronesian. The south of Zeeland should be Belgian. Northern Ireland should be Irish. Gibraltar should be Spanish. Parts of Baarle-Hertog should be Dutch... And so on.
