NEWS: Johannesburg police are investigating a shooting incident that took place inside a busy shop in the CBD, where an Ethiopian man was shot and killed while customers were present.

The incident caused panic inside the store as shoppers ran for safety. The motive has not been confirmed, and police are still working to establish what led to the shooting.

At this stage, there are also reports of a separate shooting incident earlier today in the Johannesburg CBD where three Foreign men were shot and killed at another shop. It is not yet confirmed whether these incidents are connected, and authorities have not made any official link between the cases.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed either incident or who has information that could assist the investigation to come forward. Even small details may help in tracing those responsible.
