Hurrah ! The Kohima Museum in YORK is to re-open on Thursday mornings from the 27th August. The Risk Assessment has been approved. The safety measures in place has been approved and we are ready to receive visitors from 0900hrs 27th August. Contact [email protected]

The 1st Bn of the Assam Regiment were vital for the defence of Kohima after having delayed the Japanese advance at Jessami for 7 days. I was able to visit the ARC in Shillong last month
