Earlier today, I joined The Conversation: One-on-One on LTV8, where I shared my thoughts on the progress of the Greater Lagos agenda, youth empowerment, infrastructure and the future we are working towards as a state.
One issue I discussed that matters deeply to me is the welfare of our teachers and healthcare workers. Many travel long distances every day to get to their workplaces facing challenges that affect their time and ability to serve.
We must make this easier. I believe in providing more affordable and convenient transport options, reviewing transport allowances for teachers and creating housing closer to workplaces for our doctors, nurses and other essential workers. The sixty-eight flats already provided for medical personnel in Ojo are a good step and I intend to build on this progress.
As we look ahead, my commitment is to sustain the progress Lagos has made under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu while finding better ways to address the everyday concerns of our people.
Continuity is more than just carrying on with existing projects. It means learning from experience, listening to the people and doing more where more is needed.
Our vision is a Lagos where workers are supported, young people can fulfil their potential and every resident has a fair opportunity to thrive. That is the Lagos we must continue to build together.
One thing that stands out about KOH is his character.
“My experience of his character over the years has been defined by his honesty, sincerity, fairness and strong moral principles” -Femi otedola
His visit to Femi Otedola and other business leaders is a timely reminder of the importance of trust, mutual respect, and relationships built over time.

Join me on Lagos Television LTV, tomorrow at 9.00am, for a one-on-one discussion about my vision for Lagos and the work ahead.
The future of Lagos must be built on listening to our people, understanding their needs and creating solutions that make a real difference.
I believe we can build on the progress we have made, create more opportunities, improve our infrastructure and make sure every community has a place in the Lagos we are building together.
I look forward to sharing my thoughts and having an honest conversation about the Lagos we all want to see.
I visited Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries.
Our communities are shaped by the values we uphold and the institutions that support our people. These visits offer an opportunity to reflect on the kind of society we want to build.
Our focus remains on listening to Lagosians, understanding their needs and building a state where progress makes a real difference in people’s everyday lives.
I visited Zion Prayer Movement Outreach (ZPMO), led by Evangelist Chukwuebuka Anozie Obi. It was a chance to connect with the ministry and appreciate the role faith communities play in supporting people and strengthening our society.
As we work towards a Lagos where every resident has the opportunity to thrive, I believe progress must go hand in hand with inclusion and a genuine commitment to the welfare of our people.
I am committed to listening and working with all stakeholders to build a Lagos that works for everyone.
I attended the Annual Leadership Symposium held to celebrate the 90th birthday of Prince (Dr.) Tanudeen Oluyole Olusi, OON, and to witness the launch of the Prince (Dr.) Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi Royal Merit Scholarship & Academy Foundation.
It was an opportunity to honour a life of service and lasting impact. His legacy reminds us that true leadership is about the lives we touch and the future we help shape.
May his years ahead be filled with good health and continued fulfilment and may the Foundation carry his values forward by creating opportunities for generations to come.

Today, I join Lagosians and well-wishers across the Southwest to celebrate an elder statesman and the Chairman of our Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), Prince (Dr.) Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi, MON, OON.
His installation as the Baba Adini of Yorubaland is a well-deserved recognition of a lifetime spent in dedicated service to our people and our culture. Baba Olusi remains a steady pillar of wisdom for us in Lagos and this honor reflects the deep respect he commands across the entire region.
I congratulate Baba on this milestone. May Almighty Allah grant him continued good health to keep guiding our communities.
It was an honour to join family, friends, traditional and religious leaders, and well-wishers at the installation of Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi, OON, as Baba Adinni of Yorubaland, held in celebration of his 90th birthday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.
It was a fitting celebration of a life of service and commitment to our people. I congratulate Prince Olusi on this well-deserved honour and pray for continued strength, good health and many more years of service.
Over the past few days, servicemen and women of the Armed Forces have shared what the recent pay increase means for them and their families. I am glad it is making a difference.
This week, the Nigerian Army @HQNigerianArmy operationalised new formations in Zamfara, Kebbi, Oyo and Osun. Our troops are now closer to vulnerable communities in these areas, strengthening our ability to respond swiftly and decisively when our people are threatened.
We are also fast-tracking the construction of new barracks and depots in Abuja, Ekiti, Ebonyi and Kogi, with Osun already completed. As we demand more from our men and women in uniform, we must do more to support them and their families.
Every deployment is a sacrifice made by a family too.
As our Armed Forces stand watch over Nigeria, my duty as Commander-in-Chief is to ensure they have the resources and support to do their job, and that Nigeria stands firmly behind the families waiting for them at home.
