Kenya has deliberately and consistently aligned its policies to position itself as a preferred destination for both local and international investors.
The Dongo Kundu Special Economic Zone in Kwale County is rapidly taking shape as a major investment destination, with several transformative projects at different stages of implementation.
I was impressed by the progress at Taifa Gas, where hydrotests are currently underway. The project is in its final phase and is expected to be completed within the next four months.
We also visited the Milly Glass factory, where construction has officially commenced, marking yet another significant investment in the SEZ.
The Government will continue to provide a predictable and investor-friendly environment that attracts quality investments, boosts exports, and creates meaningful employment opportunities for our young people.
I was accompanied by the CEO of the @SEZAuthority_ke Zones Authority Dr. Kenneth Chelule.

For every one of the National Strategic Projects ( SGR to Malaba, Mau Rironi Summit; JKIA expansion, Water, Power, Agric, Refinery), we should ensure that there are employer-developer local work-based learning and apprenticeship packages to move the needle in creating jobs and skill sets for the future
Upgrading the Bata – Kinyogori – Murengeti Road to bitumen standard in Limuru is well underway!
Once complete, it will boost safety, slash travel times, and directly connect local businesses &farms to key markets driving economic growth across the region.

Kenya drops US firm, plans 4-lane Nairobi-Mombasa road
The redesign marks a major policy shift from the previous proposal by American investor Everstrong Capital, which had sought to build a separate 419-kilometre greenfield expressway under a privately initiated proposal estimated to cost Sh468 billion.

H.E. President @WilliamsRuto commended the strong performance of the @NSE_PLC. This perfromance is attributed to the Government's sound macroeconomic interventions, which have restored investor confidence and strengthened Kenya's position as one of the world's best-performing markets and the successful execution of the NSE's 2025–2029 Strategic Plan.
A First World Kenya will be built through productivity, industrialisation, innovation, capable institutions and a shared national commitment to integrity, prosperity and opportunity for all. I am so persuaded!
The market continues to demonstrate resilience. The NSE 20 Share Index advanced above the 4,000 mark, while the Banking Index posted further gains.
Stay informed with today's market performance.
CPF and ICIFA successfully held a 3 day PPP workshop bringing together investors and practitioners to explore how PPP investments are structured, financed, and positioned in practice and how to engage effectively as the market evolves.
I was fortunate enough to share my experience and knowledge to the wonderful participants.
To crown the class moments, the participants attended a guided tour of Talanta Stadium.

If you meet the president @WilliamsRuto, kiss him for us all. Tell him may take some time, but the good work eventually shows.
While the sentiment isn’t always positive; the numbers keep looking up.

I commend President William Ruto for maintaining a genuinely national outlook. He has resisted the political panic that has gripped many of our leaders, who have sought to revive the tired politics of tribal mobilisation.
He has engaged the Lake Region and the Mountain with equal determination; the Eastern Plains, the Western Plateau, the Coast and the Great Rift Valley with the same sense of purpose. Even the long-neglected North has received renewed attention and dignity. This is an approach our Head of State must preserve.
It is true that, given the nature of Kenyan politics, he may have lost support in some quarters. I would argue, however, that much of that support was never his to lose in the first place. In pursuing a broader national agenda, he has earned the confidence of many more Kenyans. At a time when many expected him to retreat into the comfort of ethnic arithmetic, he instead chose to govern with a national vision. That choice deserves both recognition and reward.
He should remain focused on delivering the commitments he has made to the country, undistracted by tribal rhetoric or manufactured political hysteria. Throughout his tenure, he has demonstrated resilience and overseen significant reforms. His greatest political asset remains the strength of his organisation, the discipline of his grassroots structures, and the confidence of those who believe Kenya’s future is built on unity rather than division as the country looks ahead to 2027.
He must never abandon the conviction that Kenya is greater than its tribes and that leadership demands the courage to unite where others seek to divide. Elections are won and lost. Coalitions are formed and dissolved. The Republic, however, must always stand above partisan interest.
As he hands over the instruments of power in 2032, the finest monument to President William Ruto’s presidency will not simply be the roads built, the markets opened, the homes constructed or the reforms enacted. It will be a Kenya more cohesive, more confident and more firmly committed to a shared national destiny than the one he inherited. If he leaves behind a nation that thinks less in terms of tribe and more in terms of country, history will remember that as his greatest achievement.
The KSh 2.2 Trillion Lamu Refinery is set to transform Lamu County forever!
The benefits we shall reap from this project are simply uncountable.
It’s heartbreaking to watch woke climate change activists like @FerdyOmondi desperately fighting this project!!!
Folks accusing the president don’t realize that we are witnessing the greatest branding moment for the country.
The number of international companies that are saying they are making Nairobi their capital, the jobs and investments that these will create, the FDI that’s coming to Kenya, it’s a great time to be a Kenyan.
