@eevblog@C_S_Skeptic Wind turbine blades have lightning receptors, metal disks at different lengths of the blade grounded and going through brushes at the hub. They are there to prevent lightning strikes on the fiberglass/wood/carbon fiber parts of the blade and avoid situations like that.
