My journey into DeSci is both personal and professional.
Life experiences gave me a deep conviction about the importance of mental health, and that belief has guided every role I’ve taken on.
As an engineering graduate now pursuing medical engineering, I’ve worked with NGOs, built creative collectives, and co-founded @EthralMarketing to pioneer trustless collaboration in Web3. Each step has been about one thing: connecting people, ideas, and innovation to create impact.
At @SpectruthDAO, I carry this mission forward as Community Lead and Growth Strategist—dedicated to advancing PTSD research and awareness while building a community where science, technology, and humanity unite to transform mental health care.
Meet our community manager:
Daniel Koko Bassey is a man with a heart of gold which has earned him the position of Community Lead/ Manager and Growth Strategist at Spectruth DAO.
Daniel is an engineering graduate currently pursuing a second degree in medical engineering. Due to life events, Koko developed a burning desire for mental health awareness.
Having worked with various agencies and NGOs in this field as a community manager.
Koko also owns a design company that makes comic books with a large art community behind it.
He is also the Co-Founder of Ethral pushing trustless collaboration between projects in web3 and KOLs.
After discovering the beauty of blockchain technology, Koko has since served in various community manager roles, driving market sentiment to great heights.
Daniel believes in people and is fighting at the forefront to equip the DeSci community with the tools to spread longevity through mental health care.

🌟 We recently had a presence @kokoofweb3 at Southeast Blockchain Week in Enugu, where we introduced more builders, researchers, and communities to decentralized science, research funding, and the opportunities within the DeSci ecosystem.
🧬 Beyond the event, we also started follow up conversations with researchers and academic institutions to explore how accessible funding can support local research and innovation.
Here’s a quick highlight of the experience.
We’re building beyond the narrative. We’re building for real people and real impact.

@africanbuilder_@Web3LagosCon The ETH infrastructure has giving rise to many innovative apps that will bring about more adoption of blockchain in the local society
We took @VeraAnchor beyond the screen.
Recently, our Ecosystem Adoption and Product Lead @kokoofweb3 and the team showed up at @Web3LagosCon and Solana Summit organized by @SuperteamNG meeting builders, exchanging ideas, and sharing what we’re building around data ownership, verifiable evidence, and trusted research.
The conversations were great, the energy was even better, and we’re just getting started.
More community activities are coming workshops, conversations, and opportunities to learn and build together.
See you at the next one. ⚓

Up next: the man who had the room debating! 😂🔥
If you were at #W3LC5, you already know who this is.
Now, can someone please find that man in the second slide for us? We believe he has some unfinished conversation with the speaker. 😂

A dataset gets shared.
A model produces a result.
A computational workflow finishes.
Then the evidence crosses into another lab, partner, customer, or organization.

Vera Anchor is building a verification layer for consequential scientific workflows helping teams create independently checkable evidence around the artifacts that matter.
No need to replace your existing systems.
The goal is simple: when important evidence crosses a trust boundary, its proof should travel with it.
For scientific, biological, AI, and computational teams, this can mean stronger provenance, reproducibility, and confidence in the results others rely on.
Your system records what happened.
Vera Anchor helps make it independently verifiable.

As the Ecosystem Growth & Product Adoption Lead at @VeraAnchor, I was proud to represent the team at the Solana Summit Nigeria hosted by @SuperteamNG in Uyo.
The event provided an opportunity to connect with founders, AI builders, developersand innovators across the ecosystem.
