₦20m+ worth of Dangote IPO shares has now been bought via @Nectar_finance on @Solana, representing 89.4% of the onchain allocation issued through GetEquity.

Still baby steps, but what’s becoming obvious is that a SuperteamNG product is driving the overwhelming majority of onchain demand, while Solana is emerging as the dominant rail for this experiment in bringing Nigerian capital markets onchain.

Yesterday, @ElvisChuks15 and I hosted our first mixer for tech professionals in Birmingham, in collaboration with @SuperteamUK (Birmingham).

The idea was simple, get a bunch of techies together to connect and share ideas, while having fun over house music.

We had to do it because we saw this was rarely done in Brum, especially for African builders. We always had to go to London for mixers like this.

I’m glad it was successful and we even heard a couple of people say we should do it often, and we just might 😂😂
