He got the invite from Nat to come join her and Clint for a game night at their place. Maybe she figured Bucky could use a boost to his spirits, or perhaps she just wanted to hang out with an old friend. Whatever the case may be, he showed —
— who they were or what they were doing here, when he heard a noise from nearby. Perhaps he wasn't alone... though he dare not call out right now, just to be on the safe side in case whatever or whoever it was, hadn't spotted him yet. {@DeadlyRedWidow.}

As if Bucky didn't undergo enough fights in his time, he found himself in the midst of yet another. Though this time, this was something bigger than just him. He went out on his own to investigate this rogue group of individuals he'd —
— either someone beat him here, or left a helluva mess considering the slew of lifeless bodies on the floor, bullet holes embedded into the walls. What the hell was going on here? He'd just crouched down to look one of the corpses over for any ID or indication as to —
— was busy. Bucky met up with Hope, offering a small smile at the sight of her. "Hey," he said, and before she could ask what he was doing, he spoke up again. "This might seem totally random, but, do you wanna go to an arcade with me?" Okay, so, Bucky was a big nerd, sue him.

James never had much time to adjust, least not since he really became himself again and not the Winter Soldier. Seemed like he was always going from one fight to the next, like a full time job with no days off. There was a stint of time —
— however where it seemed the world was at a calm, well, at least his world was. Using this newfound opportunity, he decided to go out on a limb and do something he'd been meaning to. And who better to ask than Steve's other best friend? Since- it appeared Steve himself —

Bucky had never really met Wanda before, or well, at least they never had the chance to talk. She saved his life back in Germany when they were both on Steve's side against Tony, and for that he was grateful. Had it not been for her, perhaps —
— he wouldn't be here breathing because of the Black Panther himself. Bucky knew a lot was going on with Wanda after the incident with Vision, and despite his usual shy nature, he decided to go out of his comfort zone and ask how she was holding up. "Hey," He said softly. —
— It seemed though that he’d been early, which could’ve been his own anxieties, so he waited at one of the tables off to the side until her arrival. {@tenaciouswidow.}

Neither of them had it easy in their lives. Pain was all one learned to manage when they became a weapon for somebody else. Breaking free from Hydras shackles, Bucky was able to learn not to completely hate himself any longer. But —
— which, at first, he was hesitant to respond to. However he reluctantly said yes. Not because he didn’t like her, but because he didn’t like the crowds. He got a text from her with an address, and surprisingly, the place was a little pub near the outskirts of the city. —
— poured a simple cup of coffee, black with three sugars as he sat down, seeing the redhead making her way in from her morning slumber. {@REDR00MASSASSIN.}

He found himself in the kitchen at the hideout, attempting to make up some breakfast and enjoy the peace and quiet before everyone else woke up. Even if there were only a few of them on mission. Somehow he’d gotten roped into —
— a mission, but not as the Winter Soldier, just as himself. The coffee had just finished brewing when he swore he heard the soft pitter patter of feet on the ground, knowing that his quiet moments might come to an end here soon. Bucky scooped his eggs onto a plate, and just —

Bucky had tried taking Steve’s suggestion by becoming more sociable, interacting more with the people closest to them at first. He’d tried talking to Thor; and while the man was a lovable and boisterous God, Bucky could only —
— handle so much at a time. He’d already made the executive decision that he didn’t quite like Loki, for some obvious reasons. But now he found himself at a gathering, where Asgardians, Avengers, and humans alike all mingled about. He’d stood up by the bar counter, trying —
