Don't be against yourself. You don’t need another enemy. Be as good to yourself as you're to others. Be kind to yourself, be merciful to yourself, be loving to yourself. We think because it’s us, it’s okay. It’s not hurting anyone else. But it’s not okay. It’s hurting you.
@Jordan111985@6ixbuzztv Not sure how I became tied up in this conversation but please, please have the decency to use proper grammar and know how to spell correctly before you come for me.
Sometimes, God will shut a door, and no matter how much we don’t like it, it’s not going to reopen. The good news is God never ceases the manna unless He has a new provision. He never closes a door unless He’s going to open another door.
Don’t be discouraged by how permanent that obstacle looks and how much more powerful it seems than you. You have an advantage. The Most High God is on your side. He knows how to cause your enemies to hurry out of your way.
The negative things people say and do can be hurtful, but when you put your reputation in God’s hands, there’s freedom. You can rest, you can stay in peace, knowing that God is your defender, knowing that He’s in charge of your reputation.
The enemy would love for you to get stuck, focused on your hurts: what they did and what you didn’t get. Don’t fall into that trap. Your move when life is unfair is to go forward in faith, knowing that God is still on the throne and that He’s working it all out for your good.
There should be something we’re involved in that’s bigger than ourselves. It’s good to have personal goals and dreams, but if you’re only focused on yourself, you won’t reach your highest potential. You were created to help someone else, to lift the fallen, to be a blessing.
