True love eventually boils down to choosing that one problematic human being who's got their own uniquely maddening issues, but whose issues you are ready to confront and manage for the rest of your lives. And vice versa.
Real privacy isn't just 'not posting.' It's having a life so deep that the internet doesn't even know what you're winning at.
If you need a 'View Count' to feel successful, your foundation is weak. A King builds in the dark so he can rule in the light.
Feeling “not okay” does not mean I am failing, it means I am human and still fighting.
My mind is not lost, it is resting and it will find its way back to me.

To All NYSC Corp members, Read This
Dear corps member, this NYSC year is not just another chapter in your life. It is a fire. It is a mirror. It is a test. Many people will pass through this year half-asleep, counting months, chasing allawee, and waiting for POP like prisoners marking wall scratches. But you, you must not sleepwalk through destiny.
This one year can quietly shape the next ten years of your life.
Your khaki is not just cloth. It is a symbol of discipline, responsibility, and growth. Treat your PPA like a real battlefield where you sharpen your mind, your attitude, and your work ethic. Let them say you were different. Let them say you brought value. Let your name enter rooms long before you do.
Learn something. Push yourself. Step into uncomfortable spaces. The world does not reward those who sit still. It rewards those who move, stretch, and evolve. Every month, ask yourself whether you are becoming harder, wiser, and more capable than you were before.
And keep your eyes open. Open wide. Opportunities do not always come with loud music and bright lights. Sometimes they come disguised as small tasks, quiet roles, side conversations, friendships, problems that need solving, or skills nobody else wants to learn. Stay alert. The future rarely knocks twice.
You will also meet people who only want to use you. Users. Manipulators. Those who see your uniform, your energy, your willingness, and try to benefit from you without giving anything back. Do not be naive. Be kind, but do not be foolish. Protect your time. Protect your dignity. Protect your path. You were not sent here to become free labor for exploiters or emotional fuel for selfish people. Learn to say no without guilt.
Serve your host community, but do not lose yourself in the process. Give your best, but keep your vision sharp. Build relationships, but choose your circle with wisdom. Some people will drain you. Some will sharpen you. Learn the difference quickly.
Your allawee may be small, but it is a teacher. It teaches discipline. It teaches restraint. Let your money work for you where possible. Invest in knowledge. Avoid living for impressions. The loudest life is not always the wisest life.
And when the quiet moments come, reflect. Ask yourself who you are becoming. Ask yourself where you are going. NYSC will end. The khaki will come off. The CDS card will expire. The allowances will stop. But the person you become in this year will remain with you forever.
So walk through this service year with intention with courage and open eyes. With a guarded heart. Refuse to be used. Refuse to be ordinary. Refuse to leave the same way you came.
One day, you will look back at this season and either smile with pride or sigh with regret. Make choices now that your future self will stand up and clap for.
Your NYSC year is not a break. It is becoming that exact person you want, and you are right in the middle of it.
