Alhamdulillah, I had the simplest Nikah yesterday with zero pre-wedding pictures, not because I didn’t marry a beautiful wife, in fact, my woman is Arab. Zero music, dance, or parties of any kind, not because I don’t like parties or I don’t have the money or I’m a saint, but because it’s not my religion. And I married because of religion so I must act according to the religion for the marriage to see religion in it.
Lastly, the Prophet PBUH said: “The most blessed Nikah (marriage) is the one with the least expenses.“
This is me.🙏❤️
Surah At-Taubah, Verse 129:
But if they turn back, say: Allah is sufficient for me, there is no god but He; on Him do I rely, and He is the Lord of mighty power.
We sometimes falter, thinking humans can help us, Ya Illahi, forgive us for we are human and grant us complete trust in you.
Only you can truly help the helpless, we pray for your mercy and success all the time.

Don't give up, don't give up, don't give up yet, your story isn't over, don't write yourself off.
I was used as an example of "School na Scam" just because I didn't get a job at their prescribed time.
When I graduated with first class and posted it on Facebook, it raises my respect amongst my peers and the likes in my hometown, it also creates frenemy and monitoring spirits.
I stayed home for four years and didn't get a job, it became worrisome and pity to those that cared and a thing of joy to those that don't want progress especially does that didn't had the opportunity to go to school.
To them, seeing an educated person staying at home jobless is their greatest achievement, I was mocked secretly and openly even amongst my extended family.
I remember when my cousin said he wanted to be like me when he grow up coz he always sees me with book, the mother exclaimed right in front of me "tsochia ya" meaning God forbid, this one that went to school for nothing.
I didn't say anything, I just chuckled and moved to my room, that day, I promised I was going to leave Mokwa as soon as possible, I didn't tell anyone at home, I just continue to apply for jobs and scholarships.
I knew my future is far too great but if I don't leave my comfort zone, there's no way I would amount to anything, I will only end up as someone with potential but didn't actualize it.
I left for Minna and took a teaching job that was paying 20k per month, that was my first job, i was saving 15k coz I was staying in my uncle's place, I used that money to pay for my Masters school fees.
After my masters I got another job through recommendation from X here that was paying in 6 figures, the very first day I was paid, I cried, I never imagined a day will come that I will get to be paid such a huge amount of money.
And by Allah, it has been up from there, Alhamdullah. You might be wondering why I am narrating this story, I received a call from an unknown number today, guess who called?
The one that exclaimed her child will never be like me, she called asking for a favour, by Allah, I didn't even remind her of that, I only assisted her with what I can.
Your story isn't over, don't give up yet, with time, everything will change and fall in places. We are not where we want to be but, we are not where we used to be.
What did they say about a moving man?
Alhamdullah Ala Kuli Hal
Alhamdullah Rabil Alamina

The Prophet ﷺ said that charity does not decrease wealth. Rather, Allah places barakah (blessing) in what remains and opens doors of provision that you could never imagine.
Don’t wait until you’re rich before you start giving. Give whatever you can, no matter how little, and give it sincerely for the sake of Allah.
Sometimes, the key to increasing your wealth isn’t holding on tighter to it, it’s giving a portion of it for the One who owns it all.
Share to educate others.
May Allah increase us in wealth. And may we give charity for his sake.
@Farouk_Mokwa My brother your stories is almost similar to mine...
Right now, i just madeup of my mind that what ever allah will it will happen...
If not i'm tired.
When I said I have applied everything applicable, some people might think I am just exaggerating.
Forget the fact that I graduated with First Class, walahi, I have hustled for job like a dropout, every job I got were in private organisations because that's were merit works in Nigeria.
I already came from an average family, I knew that and despite limited information, my attitude of always asking had helped me a lot, even on this app, whenever I am DMing people, it's always a job I pleaded for before any other thing, not because I wasn't qualified but the system failed to reward excellence.
The heartbreak started from the school i finished, when they promised to retained us and later changed their mind coz we are not indigene, we came back to our state, I met with the then Deputy Governor who was from my LG, he gave his assurance, maybe tomorrow that assurance would yield something 😂😂
I was used as an example of school na scam coz i graduated with first class and didn't have a work at their appointed time, later got a job with a Federal agency, maybe tomorrow they will pay us our salary 😂😂
Is it paramilitary and military applications? Name it, I applied to all of them, got shortlisted in some that after screening we never heard from them, do y'all remember that NDLEA stampede in Abuja that killed applicants? It happened right in front of my eyes.
Is it Universities applications? That's where my passion lies, every application was with passion, got called in almost all for interviews, prepared well and ace most interviews with the hope of finally clinging just one job.
There was even the interview that only three of us were holders of first class that even the Vice-Chancellor was clapping for us, we thought that's just it and we were getting the job, nothing happened.
I even tried fintech, yes a bank job, I passed all the aptitude tests, did two virtual interviews and a physical interview, got cleared for medicals, did medicals and was set to resume training school only for age issue to disqualified me.
What scholarship, I don't want to talk about it coz my heart always sink here, missed an interview due to network issues, went to several physical interviews, got praised for most of them, never got a positive response, got a partial funded scholarship then, but raising 12M to augment the other part was a problem.
Above all, we remain grateful for the goodness and mercy of God upon our lives, not trying to glorify suffering but we've seen it all, others might have seen more/below us, we can only speak for ourselves.
Still hoping for a better day whilst enjoying the good bestowed upon us today. The story isn't over until we make it out of trenches and changed all the narrative Biizinillahi.
Remember the name
Remember the face
Farouk J.M. Mokwa.
Aare Ona Kakanfo of MokwaLand
I have applied everything applicable
Been to so many interviews
Cried some days when the outcome didn't favour me
Laugh at some
Until I decided I am never applying again.
I am focusing on my business
Come and give me deal
Nigeria doesn't reward excellence again
