Due to Twitter's recent changes I've been having trouble updating the "bots" but it everything should be fine starting today. Sorry for the inactivity!

Ever since Elon took over Twitter, it's all been trouble for the bots. Deprecated methods, over-capacity issues every day, and now this.

It's just impossible to maintain a bot like this. It's been too much in such a short time... I'm just tired... and it's not even my fault.

Welp, Twitter just literally killed my birthday bots. With no warning. 😥

Apparently they silently shut down the version of the API I've been using for years, and replaced it with... an unfinished version that (brace yourselves) does not allow UPLOADING PICTURES.

I don't want this 3-year project to go to waste because of the sheer incompetence of the world's richest man, so I'll just push posts manually until the upload media endpoint is created.

It baffles me how something as basic as posting a picture isn't in the only available API.

I'll try to migrate the entire image database somewhere else over the weekend so that the bots can resume working as usual - pretty much always delaying posts because Twitter's API is constantly over capacity, but still pushing daily automated posts sooner or later x)

If you're noticing how my bots are not working some days, it's because Imgur basically decided to straight up not work at all, and this has caused the bots to get rate limited daily... right as I began a new job and am at my busiest, mostly unable to fix or make posts manually 😅

Hey @imgur, your site has been to return images for my Twitter bots for the past week. The following code results in an empty file, instead of the picture I'm trying to get. Can you please look into this?
