The average Danganronpa player: Hinata was DISGUSTED by Komaeda. He HATES him. There’s no canon that suggests the friendship was mutual after Chapter 1. He doesn’t care about Komaeda at all.

I do not engage with fandoms because I am too old for insecure people like that, so I'll mostly just be posting/retweeting art here and staying in my own lane. Being perceived just feels kind of jarring.

@poindexpurr I have a lot of conflicting feelings on it lol. I accept that it's canon at least (and the fun part of analysing media is taking what you have and interpreting something from it. Not changing it because you disagree!)
But, agreed, it feels clear cut and non-debatable even in DR2

I don't know why my posts are being shown to the world and inviting the most annoying bad-faith debaters but I just want to make it very clear that, all I'm saying, is that Hinata does not hate Komaeda and does care for him. Some people really need to re-engage with the media.

And yet they always end up as friends in the end. It's a really cool subtle display of theming that I appreciate from a writing standpoint.
