Thiruvananthapuram Kombans FC made some exciting revelations in the presence of eminent dignitaries during a press meeting held at the Vivanta in the capital earlier today.

Apart from the title sponsor reveal, the club announced KIMS Healthcare as the Co-Sponsor and Health Partner. Brazilian Patrick Mota has been made the captain.

Hon'ble Minister for General Education and Labour, V. Sivankutty, the chief guest, released the Kombans-Adani composite logo, and said that Super League Kerala would bring new life to Kerala’s football scenario, assuring Thiruvananthapuram Kombans of all support from the government. He commended the vision of the promoters in choosing to invest in the many possibilities of transformation football would bring rather than the oft-opted for cricket, saying the Kombans club would always emerge victorious.

MLA Antony Raju, while announcing the captain, shared the excitement of a professional football club that the capital could call its own. Recalling the days of Minister Sivankutty as a football player and his own days as a goalkeeper all through his years in college, he appreciated the efforts to revive Thiruvananthapuram’s legacy as a football hub.

The event was attended by Rahul Bhaktkodi, Chief Airport Officer, Trivandrum International Airport, on behalf of title sponsor Adani while Jerry Philip, CEO, KIMS Healthcare, represented the co-sponsor and healthcare partner.

Thiruvananthapuram Kombans co-owner G. Vijaya Raghavan gave the welcome address while KC Chandrahasan, managing director of the club, introduced the sponsors.

Dr MI Sahadulla, Chairman & Managing Director, KIMS, who is also the Chairman of the Thiruvananthapuram Kombans Advisory Group was also present.

The guests revealed the team jersey and franchise flag at the event where a lyrical video was also released.

The stop at our home ground Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium saw the presence of Palayam Imam VP Suhaib Moulavi, Very Rev.Msgr. Wilfred E
