'CODE GEASS' director Goro Taniguchi says modern anime are suffering from a lack of directorial oversight
"The result of everyone doing things in a disconnected way is junk food."
He warns that the rise of 12-episode anime has contributed to a breakdown in the ability to train new staff
"Three episodes aren't enough to learn anything. The training system falls apart."
@dutchbearrr “Dragon isn’t relevant, Garp isn’t relevant” And Oda gave them such significant focus throughout the story There is only one fandom who hates the Monkey Ds the most
@peakpiece_hq@Polar_Stone Okay but if Dragon never attempted to save them Shanks would be far worse as a CD, if you don’t wanna give dragon the full W you should give him half since he still got shank to a position that he can get on Roger ship
@peakpiece_hq@Polar_Stone Still better to be a marine than a CD, and Dragon and maybe garp would’ve helped raise him so I don’t think he’ll be corrupted
But for another answer shanks wouldn’t be a on Rogers ship without Dragon so even if it wasn’t on purpose, dragon still the reason
@dutchbearrr@cyndiquills Thats fair, personally I feel like if they joined the crew Yamato would show more character and development, to get over the Oden gimmick. I think later on people would like Yamato more
