Yesterday Health secretary Matt Hancock couldn't answer the question about how many NHS staff had sadly died from Covid 19. Today in an interview he gets the figure wrong. There is no excuse for this ignorance. NHS staff have given their lives, the govt must acknowledge this.

Yesterday KONP NHS staff and campaigners dropped a banner off the side of Westminster bridge to draw attention to the worst NHS winter on record.

People are dying needlessly. It's a national disgrace, and this government must act now to bring it to an end.
