Former Michigan judge and longtime TV personality Judge Mathis says he plans to write a letter to Lil Durk’s trial judge on the rapper’s behalf if Durk is found guilty in his federal murder-for-hire trial.
“If he’s convicted, I’m writing a letter informing the judge of my relationship and my experience with him and that I believe he was turning his life around.”
Mathis added that he wouldn’t second-guess the jury’s decision, but would make sure the judge knows about the positive things he personally witnessed from Durk.
