It was terrible Mr Vice President what happened. And lessons will be learned. But here’s a thought - maybe concentrate instead on why 44000 Americans died last year from gun related deaths, and what can be done about your dreadful disease before you start lecturing others
I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that.
Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it.
Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games.
Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on.
As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
The President of the United States woke up this morning and posted a 150-word personal attack on Bruce Springsteen.
Not on Iran. Not on the tariffs crashing global markets. Not on the recession warnings. Bruce Springsteen.
There is a standard psychological tool called the Hare Psychopathy Checklist. It has 20 items scored on a scale from 0 to 40. The cutoff for a diagnosis of psychopathy is 30. The average person scores around 4. The average maximum security prisoner scores 22. A panel of eminent psychiatrists assessed Trump before his 2024 sentencing in New York. He scored 36 out of 40.
The 25th Amendment exists precisely for this. Section 4 allows the Vice President and a majority of the Cabinet to declare the president unable to carry out his duties. It has never been used. In any normally functioning democracy, the bar would be far lower. Most leaders in that position resign themselves.
Instead, this one is on Truth Social at 7:58 AM calling a rock legend a dried-up prune.
America is fighting a war it cannot exit in Iran. Markets are in freefall. Allies are making alternative plans.
And the man with the nuclear codes is writing concert reviews.

Dear Donald Trump,
If you attack Iran's energy infrastructure, Iran will respond in kind & the Houthis will shut down the Red Sea, further tanking global oil & gas.
Don't sink the US & global economy.
Cut your losses & get out.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
I did not campaign for this.
I did not donate money for this.
I did not vote for this, in elections or Congress.
This is heartbreaking and tragic.
And how many more innocent will die?
What about our own military?
This is not what we thought MAGA was supposed to be.
Shame!
No wonder the toddler is unhinged once again.
The Obamas are competent, classy, loving, Harvard and Princeton graduates, loved by many, not on the Epstein files, got the Nobel Peace Prize, and gave us a steady economy to boot!
Repost this if you agree they are AMAZING!
Gavin Newsom explains that the Trump administration stopped him from speaking at Davos last night:
"I was going to speak last night at the USA house"
"After Trump's speech they made sure that I didn't"
"They made sure it was cancelled"
"That's what's happening in the USA"
"Freedom of expression, freedom of assembly, freedom of speech"
"It's America in reverse"
"They're censoring historical facts, they're rewriting history, they're censoring books"
"Any institution of independent thinking is under assault and attack by the Trump administration"
"You're seeing what's been played out on American streets"
"Masked men, secret police, private army, people disappearing quite literally, no due process"
"People dragged into the streets. Kids, separated from families"
"Racially profiling American citizens"
"Is it surprising that the Trump administration didn't like my commentary and wanted to make sure that I wasn't allowed to speak at Davos"
Last quarter I rolled out Microsoft Copilot to 4,000 employees.
$30 per seat per month.
$1.4 million annually.
I called it "digital transformation."
The board loved that phrase.
They approved it in eleven minutes.
No one asked what it would actually do.
Including me.
I told everyone it would "10x productivity."
That's not a real number.
But it sounds like one.
HR asked how we'd measure the 10x.
I said we'd "leverage analytics dashboards."
They stopped asking.
Three months later I checked the usage reports.
47 people had opened it.
12 had used it more than once.
One of them was me.
I used it to summarize an email I could have read in 30 seconds.
It took 45 seconds.
Plus the time it took to fix the hallucinations.
But I called it a "pilot success."
Success means the pilot didn't visibly fail.
The CFO asked about ROI.
I showed him a graph.
The graph went up and to the right.
It measured "AI enablement."
I made that metric up.
He nodded approvingly.
We're "AI-enabled" now.
I don't know what that means.
But it's in our investor deck.
A senior developer asked why we didn't use Claude or ChatGPT.
I said we needed "enterprise-grade security."
He asked what that meant.
I said "compliance."
He asked which compliance.
I said "all of them."
He looked skeptical.
I scheduled him for a "career development conversation."
He stopped asking questions.
Microsoft sent a case study team.
They wanted to feature us as a success story.
I told them we "saved 40,000 hours."
I calculated that number by multiplying employees by a number I made up.
They didn't verify it.
They never do.
Now we're on Microsoft's website.
"Global enterprise achieves 40,000 hours of productivity gains with Copilot."
The CEO shared it on LinkedIn.
He got 3,000 likes.
He's never used Copilot.
None of the executives have.
We have an exemption.
"Strategic focus requires minimal digital distraction."
I wrote that policy.
The licenses renew next month.
I'm requesting an expansion.
5,000 more seats.
We haven't used the first 4,000.
But this time we'll "drive adoption."
Adoption means mandatory training.
Training means a 45-minute webinar no one watches.
But completion will be tracked.
Completion is a metric.
Metrics go in dashboards.
Dashboards go in board presentations.
Board presentations get me promoted.
I'll be SVP by Q3.
I still don't know what Copilot does.
But I know what it's for.
It's for showing we're "investing in AI."
Investment means spending.
Spending means commitment.
Commitment means we're serious about the future.
The future is whatever I say it is.
As long as the graph goes up and to the right.
NEW: Police knew a Kremlin spy ring recruited former leader of Reform Wales at least 3 years ago.
So why was Nathan Gill not charged till Feb this year?
Pls read part 2 of @thenerve_news special investigation into Nathan Gill. And please share!

My colleagues & I have taken a huge gamble to set up @thenerve_news. We’re trying to build a new independent publication from the ground up. Social media is our only distribution for now.
Sharing this article in your networks would make a huge difference. Thank you! 🙏🙏🙏
This is the man the BBC elevated & is refusing to investigate despite @carolecadwalla & @BylineTimes having done all the work for them . Do we have a precedent for a this ? A national broadcaster ignoring possible treason , isn’t that in itself sort of treasonous 🥴 ?
Nathan Gill. Nathan Gill. Nathan Gill. Nathan Gill. Nathan Gill. Nathan Gill. A politician of any kind who takes bribes from Russia, but especially a friend and colleague of the man we keep being told will be next PM, should be as well known to this generation as Philby was to mine. Thanks to a media blackout to help Nige Nathan can walk down any street in the land unrecognised and unbothered by journalists. What weird times we live in
This is the first time that one of my tweets has been 'disappeared'
It was about the BBC's Fiona Bruce closing down discussion of Reform UK's ties to Putin's Russia
