Ultimately, these are the people we gave our trust to. Their continued refusal to even discuss the very real issues facing Alberta on a federal level clearly shows a lack of integrity.
@ShaneWenzel This performative hysteria and nonsense needs to end. We need adults in charge. Political office is a serious responsibility and we need serious people in charge.
Criticizing Mark Carney misses the mark.
Canada’s "technical recession" is a literal rounding error (GDP fell by just $1M in a C$3.2T economy, a minuscule 0.00003% reduction), largely driven by a temporary surge in gold imports, while GDP per capita actually rose by 0.2%.
Navigating these intricate economic nuances requires the depth of an Oxford Economics PhD and proven central banking expertise, not oversimplified political rhetoric.
Had the Conservative Party been in power, their policy approach would have likely led Canada into a genuinely harsher economic reality.

Alberta’s independence movement is not just economics. It’s a very real cultural movement. We want a return to the old Canada, not merely more money in our wallets. Albertans care about who they are, and the freedom that we have to be who we choose to be and live as we choose without Ottawa’s interference.
@sytsema_andy I agree. Governments of all stripes in Canada love to spend our money with zero results for us An independant Alberta gives us the opportunity to completely change the FPTP system, allowing us to elect governments that better represent the priorities of ALL Albertans.
During the election, Pierre took Albertan's conservative votes for granted, knowing that there was never really any other choice for us.
He did it again, after losing the election and his seat, and Albertan's still gave him our votes.
So, Alberta, you've been fooled twice and here he comes again ; the difference is that this time we do have a choice ; vote to hold the binding referendum in October.

Back home at the doors with MPs @PatKelly_MP and @DMcKenzieCPC in Calgary Confederation with Conservative candidate @elanharper bringing our message building a strong Alberta in a united Canada.
The proud Albertans we spoke to want a Canada where people can raise their family, achieve success, and live a great life.
Let’s fight for them to make it happen.
