Got my hands on a copy of the cartoon character ice cream recipe book. As expected, it’s nothing but a low-budget self-published book from some old lady. It seems these are printed when you order them because the date in the back says oct 16 2026 while the copyright year is 2010

It's awesome Switch Sports Resort is putting more emphasis on Miis, but they're disappointingly not optimized for the game's art direction at all. Mii heads are noticeably jaggy, don't have PBR materials and face textures are too affected by lighting. They stick out in a bad way.
