2026年に誕生50周年を迎えたホンダ アコード。その型式ごとに無限がユーザーへ提案した各種パーツを、当時の無限カタログを通して振り返ります

第1弾は、CD型からCL型までのアコードのカタログを公開

国内ツーリングカーレースの最高峰であったJTCC（全日本ツーリングカー選手権）への参戦を通じて、無限はアコード向け製品の開発を進めてきました

当時の無限は、レース活動で培った知見を活かし、フロントスポーツグリルや前後アンダースポイラー、リアウイングなどのスタイリングパーツを設定。アコードの持つ上質さを保ちながら、スポーティな印象を高める提案を行っていました

また、エキゾーストマニホールドやスポーツエキゾーストシステム、スポーツサスペンションなどの機能パーツもラインアップ。ストリートユースを前提としながら、走行性能の向上を追求していました。後にはAccord Euro-R向けパーツも展開され、エアロパーツやホイール、サスペンションなどを通じて、アコードのスポーツモデルとしての個性をさらに際立たせました

カタログには、JTCCマシンをモチーフとしたロードモデルも掲載。レース活動と市販パーツ開発の距離が近かった当時の無限らしい世界観を感じることができます

【50th Anniversary of the Honda Accord 🎂】

The Honda Accord celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2026. MUGEN looks back at the parts and accessories it offered to customers throughout the years through its catalogs from each era.

For the first installment, we are releasing catalogs for Accord models from the CD to CL generations.

Through its participation in the Japan Touring Car Championship (JTCC), the pinnacle of domestic touring car racing at the time, MUGEN developed a wide range of products for the Accord.

Drawing on knowledge gained through its racing activities, MUGEN offered styling parts such as front sport grilles, front and rear under spoilers, and rear wings. These parts enhanced the Accord's sporty character while preserving its refined image.

Performance-oriented parts, including exhaust manifolds, sports exhaust systems, and sports suspension systems, were also available. Designed primarily for street use, these products pursued improved driving performance and enjoyment. In later years, MUGEN expanded its lineup for the Accord Euro-R, offering aero components, wheels, suspension systems, and other accessories that further emphasized the model's sporting character.

The catalogs also feature road-going models inspired by JTCC race cars, reflecting an era when motorsport activities and product development for production vehicles were closely intertwined.
