So I went to the game today and the general feeling from fans I spoke to? A win!! but it never materialised. It was like watching last seasons Slot Ball shite. AI has a lot of work to do to un-brainwash the Slot methods to get back to the fitness and intensity Klopp levels.

What i saw today:

Alisson - fine apart from
one mad moment passing to a teammate marked
Araujo - solid beast
Jacquet - solid beast
VVD - solid, needs to marshall the team better to attack
Tsimikas - Woeful
Szobo - Sloppy
Grav - Seems to be lacking confidence
Wirtz - A luxury we cannot afford right now. Too many touches and not direct enough to take risks. Drop to bench and goto macca grav double pivot with Dom driving forward
Barcola - Rusty with no pre-season games
Isak - Starved. Our players have to learn fast how to fee the goat.
Munoz - A willing runner but needs support

Frimpong - no confidence and seems to have lost his mojo. Not a RB
Rio - must be more direct run at players, take ons, beat your man cross to Isak
Kerkez - better than tsimikas but the slot effect has made him look woeful
Gakpo - should have been of left to give better impact
Macca - steadied the MF and made a difference

Iroala - made the right substitutions but the team should have been the same as midweek with maybe Gakpo left Barcola right

Overall a lack of intensity, man to man pressing, slow build up aka Slot, and not enough thinking to get the ball forward quickly
