@TsumiiiiUwU@That1SoulsGuy And for me, there is more reason to go in and change around his cosmetics with that skin, since they mix and match in more unique ways, than there is to go into Juno or reaper, who only get customized once and are done. Only other thing done to them is maybe a color change.
@TsumiiiiUwU@That1SoulsGuy I guess a better term would have been a dialogue. Regardless I find the newest mythic lack in personal customization compared to mythic skins like Genji, kirko, sigma, Reinhardt, Ana, and junkerqueen. Even if one finds them lacking does not mean they lack in unique expression.
@TsumiiiiUwU@That1SoulsGuy As soon as you share a differing opinion, that opens up a conversation for an argument, aka a conversation of differing ideas/opinions/beliefs/perceptions/etc… and a true argument isn’t always about changing someone’s mind but just sharing information with backing.
@TsumiiiiUwU@That1SoulsGuy 1. Sigma’s skin and how good it looks is subjective. 2. The issue being covered is over all mythics currently, and the new one’s lack of individuality 3. Baiting doesn’t involve usage of sources to view. 4. Use of personal attacks do not provide anything to an argument
@TsumiiiiUwU@That1SoulsGuy It is mainly a video going over the degradation of quality of mythic skins over time. If you don’t want to watch it that is on you, but it is a source sharing the point. The Overwatch forums also seem to be filled with people saying old mythic skins have a higher quality than new
@TsumiiiiUwU@That1SoulsGuy This person highlights my point very well where old mythics feel like multiple skins while the newer mythics just feel like one. And to respond to your point, if that is true I never noticed it because all of Juno’s are the same skin, just with more layers https://t.co/vkp5YqnqkA
@TsumiiiiUwU@That1SoulsGuy Yet there is a different reason to wear each one. They add enough variation where it doesn’t feel like one overcomes the others, where with Juno’s, reapers, mercy’s, doomfists, most newer ones, you end up wearing the last tier you unlock because it is just the other 2 but better
@TsumiiiiUwU@That1SoulsGuy Could you identify how the sigma skin is in the same boat as the Juno skin? If it is in regards to you saying sigma’s skin has no uniqueness I would disagree as per the photo below. Left = space commander of army style, middle = space emperor style, right = space scientist style.
@choixxxmin@TsumiiiiUwU@That1SoulsGuy I can agree with you on some of those regards, but I feel like his mythic, along with Genji’s and Kiriko’s, which were among the first mythics, have more effort put into them than recent ones. Just because sigma’s has a popular setup doesn’t change the fact it has unique options.
@choixxxmin@TsumiiiiUwU@That1SoulsGuy I argue that sigma has one of the mythics with the most unique customization options, 3 helmets, 3 unique armours, and 2 weapon variants. Juno’s has 3 hairstyles, 3 armours that are copy pastes of each other with added bits per tier, and vfx on/off which I don’t really count.
@TsumiiiiUwU@That1SoulsGuy Using the term “dick riding” takes away from a much needed discussion of the degradation of mythic skins over time and how they went from being a way form players to express themselves to just being a skin with levels. Mythic skins have become lazy compared to how they started.
@TsumiiiiUwU@That1SoulsGuy Let me clarify, Juno’s skin levels have little to no uniqueness to it with the only one being really the hair. Sigma’s on the other hand has differing armor types with no similarities between them and different crowns, as well as 2 different weapons. Old mythics are better
@TsumiiiiUwU@That1SoulsGuy Mythic skin that has tiers with different, unique customizations vs skin that has each tier be the previous tier but with more things added on. I hate the modern mythic skin implementation compared to the old
