Trump started his political career with a PROMISE to self-fund his own campaign. That was a BOLD-FACED LIE. During the 2016 Election, 14 Billionaires donated well over a Million Dollars apiece to the Trump campaign. As of February of this year, Trump’s Super Pac has $47 million in its coffers, most of that has come from the same Billionaires. During his Presidency, Trump gave cabinet positions to several of his billionaire donors, creating in the wealthiest WH Cabinet in American history.

As we all know, Trump has been sued numerous times for everything ranging from sex predation to business fraud. He has also been indicted by 4 separate Grand Juries for 91 criminal counts. Last year alone, Trump donors paid for over $50,000,000.00 of Trump’s legal fees. Trump voters, not Trump, are paying for the best legal defense money can buy, and Trump is still LOSING.

Trump has routinely used his political platform to SELL JUNK to his followers. In December of 2022, Trump claimed to have a “major announcement,” but it was not about immigration or economic policy, rather he introduced his new DIGITAL PLAYING CARDS, a few lines of computer code with images of Trump as a cowboy or astronaut sold at the bargain price of $99.00 a pop. Recently, Trump had another “big announcement.” This time he is selling SNEAKERS PAINTED GOLD for $399.00. Throughout his “political” career, he has pushed Trump Steaks, Trump Magazine, and even Trump Water Bottles.

Trump was the first person ever to own an international business while President. During his Presidency, he received $7,800,000.00 in DIRECT PAYMENTS from FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS. Throughout his Presidency, Trump International Hotel was a monetary dumping ground for FOREIGN DICTATOSHIPS looking to curry favor. Trump Tower in New York City rented three floors to a Chinese state-controlled bank. Trump World Tower rented space to seven separate foreign governments. All of this is a clear violation of the Foreign Emoluments Clause of the US Constitution, our Nation’s oldest anti-corruption provision.

In the aftermath of the 2020 Election, Trump raised $250,000,000.00 from his supporters to fight “election fraud.” He did this despite the official vote count, recounts, audits, 62 court decisions, and the decisions of the actual legal electors – both Republican and Democrat. Trump told his supporters the money was being raised for an “Official Election Defense Fund,” but that was a BOLD-FACED LIE. Instead, the money was funneled into Trump’s general political action committee. $1,000,000.00 was given to a foundation run by his Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. $1,000,000.00 was given to the America First Policy Institute, a conservative organization that employs several former Trump Administration officials. $204,857.00 was paid directly to Trump Organization. And $5,000,000.00 was paid to the company that ran the January 6th rally that resulted in the storming of the United States Capitol.

Trump also routinely violated the Domestic Emoluments Clause of the US Constitution. It prohibits Presidents from receiving any benefit, outside of salary, from the Federal Government. But Trump routinely ordered his Administration to use his businesses properties for profit. Trump Mar-a-Lago became the site of actual summits with foreign leaders. When Mike Pence visited Dublin, Trump ordered him, and his sizeable entourage, to stay for pay at Trump’s Doonberg property. At the conclusion of the G7 in 2019 (a gathering of seven of the world’s most economically powerful countries), Trump announced the next G7 would be held at Trump Doral in Miami. Only after a public outcry of disgust did the Trump Administration backdown from openly pimping Trump Doral as the “perfect venue” for the world’s most prestigious foreign policy event.

BREAKING: Donald Trump breaks the emergency glass and begs for a new trial in the E. Jean Carroll lawsuit that saddled him with a staggering $83.3 million damages bill.

Clearly, the embattled ex-president can't find the money to pay up. And it gets even better...

"Just before President Trump took the stand at trial, the Court engaged in a colloquy with defense counsel designed to restrict the scope of President Trump’s testimony," wrote Trump's shady lawyers in a new filing.

Trump and his team are complaining that U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan restricted what Trump could tell jurors on the witness stand — a perfectly reasonable move from the judge given Trump's penchant for lying, threatening, and smearing.

The restrictions were implemented after Trump was found liable for defamation before the trial because Carroll won a separate lawsuit.

This new request from Trump's team will almost certainly be rejected given its legal baselessness. It's a desperate Hail Mary from a cornered, sinking man.

Best of all? Trump has to pay the $83.3 million to Carroll by March 9th — just four days away. Between this and the jaw-dropping $454 million he owes for his civil fraud case, Trump is barreling towards complete financial ruin.
