@satyanadella Interesting article, but if the effort is to preserve the knowledge and use it for its own model training, it's very high and likely not a 2026 thing.
On June 3, Consul General @srikar_koppula graced the screening of “The India Experience” by filmmaker Bharatbala Ganapathy at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema New Mission, San Francisco, as Guest of Honor.
Speaking at the event, Consul General recognized @bharatbala as a cultural ambassador for India, a filmmaker whose decades of iconic work have brought India's diversity and cultural richness to global audiences. He highlighted the contributions of the Indian diaspora across technology, business, academia, and public life, and emphasized the growing depth of India–US ties, strengthened by shared cultural understanding and community engagement. He expressed confidence that “The India Experience” would leave audiences inspired and more deeply connected to India's many dimensions.
The evening was hosted by Ruchi Sanghvi and Manya Kothari, with South Stack Studios as co-host.
“The India Experience” is Season 1 of @bharatbala's @virtual_bharat series — a 90-minute cinematic journey through untold human stories from across India, woven through landscape, music, poetry, and tradition. More than 150 guests — founders, technologists, investors, philanthropists, artists, students, and families — came together for an evening that was as much a cultural moment as it was a film screening.

A few years ago, I started teaching Hindi in San Francisco so my own kids wouldn’t lose the language. What began as a personal experiment soon grew into a class of ~20 kids learning Hindi in our small home classroom.
Step by step, kids who had never spoken Hindi began forming full sentences. Casual classes turned into a real Paathshala. Last semester, we performed an hour-long Ram Leela, a dream come true.
In 2026, I hope to go deeper into my craft, reach more families, and make the classes more accessible. If you’d like to collaborate, or if your child would love to join, please reach out!
@PMOIndia - I wish there was a way where you wouldn’t need to give up your Indian citizenship and passport if you were to take the citizenship of any other country in this world. So many countries allow dual citizenship. As a born and raised Indian my heart feels so sad today
@Siddhartha_90 So true! It’s been life changing for us after we created @byobags1 - BYOBags have been a great way to move towards plastic free living , a small step indeed but still makes a big difference
